someone was messing with my alarm clocks and they are almost 4 hours ahead, so i got up hella early, which works out cuz i have time to actually make a photo friday post!

IF IT ISNT LOUD, IT ISNT MUSIC.
a few years back i met this dude named Stavros. He ran a studio called Poetry Television, which was a great idea… on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week he had concerts. When he found out i’m into photography, he put me to work. fortunately, i got to keep all the pictures i took- theres no way i can share all of them with you or you would be reading my post for days- so heres the best of those pix (in no particular order)

the HAVOC rocked the house so hard the cops showed up 10 minutes after they started playing to shut the show down.

if i find them again, i’d go back to see em again.

Jackson4

Jackson4

random bass plucker

some members of another band before they went on stage

(because of the location of poetry studio, it was never a crowded house… hard to find cuz the entrance was in an alley)

this was one of my favorite shows- “To See You Broken” a group of 4 punk chicks

“To See You Broken”

Random guitar dude- wish i remembered what band that was.

This is Meg… shes from Santa Fe. She came all the way down here with her band and put on a show, just for me and my camera. there was nobody else there

This is Meg’s bass player.

this is me outside the Poetry Tv studio, smokin it up with the graphiti.

there is no editing involved in this pic… these r Stavros’s drums under dim light- i love the grainy-ness of the shot.
